Spartan Saturday.

What a workout we had today. The house was packed, and our athletes went through the Spartan workout with ease. With the sun shining down, each person pushed their way through the 300 reps. We could all feel the intensity rising as the workout went on. Nate, or Bucky as I like to call him, finished first in a close competition! Great job today, keep it up!!!

Rogue Runners remember the training starts at 11am tomorrow morning. Be there with a smile on your face!

Next Saturday we are holding the first ever Hopper Deck Workout.  We will be putting your fate on the Hopper Deck, there are 54 workouts in there with varying degrees of difficulty.  All workouts will still be scaleable!

This is a great tool if you carry your programming around in your backpack, check them out: Hopper Deck

What is in a name?

Whenever we have a workout with a name to it, our athletes know they are in for a good time. It may be the name of one of our athletes, trainers, or just something from a movie, but they all have their own special twist. Everyone walked in with a smile on their face, and with the exception of some sweat, they had the same look leaving! Great job tonight everyone!

Rogue Running Team…make sure you are getting your weekly workouts in. We will see everyone Sunday at 11. If you are interested in the running team email eddie@roguefitness.com.

Looking forward to Saturday!

What a great week we have been having. Everyone has been sending the end of summer out with a bang.  All of our new athletes are picking up on the hard work and intensity that our veteran clients bring to class. Tonight Eric Walden visited us from Denver. He is a true firebreather. Great job Eric, come and visit us anytime!

Our Saturday class is back at the old Noon time slot. Last weekend we had an awesome turn out, and everyone had a great time with the workout. We as trainers are already preparing for the competition this weekend. The winners of Saturday’s workout will win a free t-shirt!  You have 3 more hours to sleep in Saturday… who doesn’t want to try and win???

Today's workout included the dumbbell snatch…

…a move that is new to most of the Rogue athletes. Regardless the Rogue warriors met the workout head on and put forth maximum effort.

Monday's at Rogue…

…what a way to start the week! Great work everyone. Jim was feeling a bit squirrelly and decided to do the workout with his body armor on. Even with the armor he was able to keep up with everyone else. And if you did the workout today you know how tough it was just to complete it as prescribed.

Saturday's are Back!!! Great workout!

Today we went back to the noon workout on Saturday and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. It will hold until the Buckeyes start their season and then we will need to work around those.

At high noon we did Fight Gone Bad to prepare for the annual Fight Gone Bad Fundraiser, here is the link to donation page: Fight Gone Bad Page

After the workout we all rallied up and had a crazy workout, check out the pics:

Elements, Elements, Elements!

Eddie Clark coaching a few athletes in the Elements session this evening.  They are seen here learning the deadlift.

Every Monday we cycle new recruits through our Elements program, we have 3 new members here at Rogue.  The Elements are designed to address any questions or fears you may have about CrossFit or Rogue Training.  We explain in detail the program then we teach you how to safely get the bar from the ground to overhead.

We teach with PVC which weighs less than 5lbs so you don’t need to worry about us requiring you to lift abnormal amounts of weight, that is up to you.  We scale our workouts to fit anyone from a soccer mom to a Navy BUDS candidate.  We train families at the same time and in the same class.

The first Elements class is free, if you are interested just fill out the Rogue Contact form

If you want results and are willing to work hard, you have found your new home!
