Rogue Fitness is the official equipment supplier for the CrossFit Games! We just sent a truckload of equipment to the Games site.

Another big announcement is the introduction of the Pendlay NexGen bars, they will begin shipping on 17Jun09.

This weekend only we will be offering the SoCal Econ package with the Men’s HD bar, this is a free upgrade from the Econ bar.

From Rogue Bumpers

We have 10’s & 15’s that are getting dropped overhead almost every 3 seconds, that is our Rogue approximation. We currently sell Rogue HiTemp bumpers only and they are made with the following:

1) Recycled rubber

2) HD Stainless steel insert as see above. The insert is recessed so that it doesn’t catch the edge of the bumper next to it

The Rogue 10-15LB Bumpers are very inexpensive and will last a very long time. At $30/pair of 10’s or $45/pair of 15’s they are very affordable. They are also made in the USA! Nothing lasts forever but compared to a brass insert that may get deformed and/or fall out they are the most durable out there. The fact that the sleeve is recessed is a very big deal, the brass type are flush with the surface which subjects them to more damage.

These bumpers are not made to look nice enough for the World Championship but they will perform well enough for any Olympic training center around. The thicknesses are characteristic of a training plate hence they are wider than competition plates. A nice comp plate will set you back approximately $200/pair.

We do our best to keep everything in stock which requires us to work very closely with the factories. We stock everything in our equipment packages. What does this mean? It means that barring any shortages you can order an equipment package and it will go out in 1-3 days, most of the time it will go out within 24 hours.

From Rogue Pullup Assembly

Jason Ackerman of Albany CrossFit used our Rogue Pullup Rig for the North East CrossFit Games qualifiers. Looks like he found a pretty ingenious way to move them. (Picture is featured on the CrossFit affiliates blog)

This is a 24′ version of the Rogue Pullup Rig, we used one at the MidWest Qualifier as well. We had 16 athletes per heat on this version.

These systems are build in Columbus Ohio and powder coated with our signature black powder coat.

I am from Logan, OH which is a very small town built on Industry and hard work. Over time much of the factories have closed or reduced production dramatically. We proudly bring business back to communities like this, back to the small business folks. We hope to bring more business to this area with future products. The new Rogue Ring MIL pouch will be made in Logan Ohio by a family friend and five other people in Logan. The owner is a retired Team Sergeant from the Army Special Forces so the design is very similar to the MOLLE gear used by our troops. We will release this in 10 days.

1) Classic Ranger Green or Desert Khaki colors will be offered

2) Eyelets for Drainage on the bottom

3) HD Velcro to keep the rings secure along with a center divider for the rings and straps
