I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank the Columbus Ohio Fire Department, Police and First responders.

Sometimes its easy to forget what these guys do on a daily basis as we go through our daily lives.  Today one of our team was in a pretty serious car accident, our people are ok. By the time I arrived the Police and Fire were all over the place doing what they do best and controlling the situation.

We just got back from Austin and it looked like this down there.  I just got back into the gym today after a long time of sitting in front of the computer and packing out skids in the warehouse.

You quickly realize that there needs to be something to keep the sanity in your life and I prefer to grab a barbell and put in work.  All of our athletes are the same, we don’t breed soft people.  The following tshirt is a badge of honor:

The CrossFit Games MidWest Qualifier will be hosted at the Rogue compound on 16-17May09.

There will be 3 events on Saturday and one final event on Sunday.  This is open for scaling but only the top 6 men and women will move on to the games with the prescribed WOD.

It is getting closer to the launch of the New Rogue SPX system, here is a pic of the Rogue Bar sitting in the HD J-Cup! There aren’t any threaded pins to strip out or little rubber fittings to fall off, just steel!

If you ever see a box or piece of equipment with this tattoo on it, know that it is built to last.  We take a great deal of pride in the products we manufacture.  This project involving 400,000LBS of equipment getting sent all over the world is an example of how we rise to the challenge.

The New Rogue SPX System will be available within weeks. This chassis for this system is a bullet proof squat stand with adjustability from shrugs to press. Soon you will have the capability for pullups, dips, pulls and much more. We built our stands out of heavy steel and this is meant to take abuse.

You will be able to get the uprights in M35 Deuce inspired Olive Drab or Black. Here is a pic of 4 sets headed to the USMC.
